Job Summary
Maintain a clean and professional appearance for numerous buildings by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, and operating machinery like Walk Behind Scrubbers. Clean and polish furniture, windows, and glass partitions; mix cleaning solutions and service restrooms, locker rooms, and kitchenettes. Requisition supplies, gather and empty trash while maintaining separation between recyclables, and set up facilities for events. Notify management of repairs or issues requiring attention. Must pass drug and background checks, be at least 16 years old, and possess the physical ability to lift 25lbs, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours. Training provided for prior experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to bend over a trash bin to remove up to 25lbs
- Must be able to lift 25lbs during the entire shift
- Capable of standing and walking up to 8 hours
- Capable of bending and squatting up to 8 hours
- Capable of pushing manual brooms and mops
- Capable of pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, twisting up to 8 hours
- Able to operate a Walk Behind Scrubber that involves strong physical abilities in the back, shoulder, arms, hip and neck
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning experience preferred but will train
