Job Summary
Maintain a clean and orderly condition for numerous buildings by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, entrances, and stairs. Operate machinery to clean factory areas, including walk-behind scrubbers, while maintaining equipment and reporting issues. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors; mix cleaning solutions per specifications. Service restrooms, locker rooms, and kitchenettes; gather, empty, and sort trash and cardboard. Requisition supplies as needed and arrange or remove decorations for events. Notify management of repairs or situations requiring attention. Maintain separation between recyclables, trash, and cardboard.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to bend over a trash bin to remove up to 25lbs
- Must be able to lift 25lbs during the entire shift
- Capable of standing and walking up to 8 hours
- Capable of bending and squatting up to 8 hours
- Capable of pushing manual brooms and mops
- Capable of pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, twisting up to 8 hours
- Able to operate a Walk Behind Scrubber that involves strong physical abilities in the back, shoulder, arms, hip and neck
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning experience preferred but will train
