Job Summary
Certified Color Consultant provides color consultations and sales support to DIY enthusiasts, driving color-category awareness and brand loyalty. Responsibilities include delivering optimal customer experiences, increasing sales through omni-channel interactions, recording transactions in POS, assisting with daily store operations, training and mentoring colleagues, supporting loss prevention, and maintaining knowledge of hair color products and trends. The role emphasizes customer-focused collaboration, effective communication, adaptability, and ongoing learning to meet color-related sales goals and enhance store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- 1+ year retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear, concise manner
- Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
- Ability to execute product knowledge from training to support with customer service
- Ability to explain product labels
- Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager
- Comprehensive knowledge of iPad and navigation of the internet and social media platforms
- Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public
