Job Summary
ARNP Navigator role supporting youth reentry programs; duties include participating in Transition Conference, Community Reentry Team Meeting, and Exit Conference; developing Transition Plans for Success for youth served; meeting with parents/guardians before release to establish family relationships and assess service needs; collaborating with JPO to identify resources; facilitating referral processes and initiating services for identified resources; maintaining ongoing contact with youth, family, and resource partners; reporting progress to JPO; cultivating relationships with DJJ staff, law enforcement, juvenile court judges, state attorney offices, and public defender offices; maintaining up-to-date youth case files and notes; program location in Fort Myers, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years' experience working directly with adolescents in one or more fields: criminal justice, social services, or education
- 4+ years of experience working directly with adolescents in a field specified by contract may substitute the education requirement
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must be able to drive for business purposes and maintain a safe driving record; vehicle to transport three adults, plus driver
- Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
