Job Summary
Saw Operator in the Cast House responsible for operating the billet saw and forklift to assist in aluminum ingot production. Reads work orders to determine billet alloy, diameter, length, and quantity; loads billets, sets stops/guides, positions pieces, activates machines, and measures dimensions. Inspects and operates forklifts, unloads/stacks material, and handles scrap/bands. Documents billet saw reports, follows safety practices, and supports supervisors and other operators in a high‐volume manufacturing environment.
