Job Summary
Maintain a quality environment through proper cleaning processes that meet the requirements of the contract by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning tables, windows, and restrooms. Prepare all cleaning solutions per manufacturer guidelines, shampoo and deep clean carpets, and sanitize door handles while reporting maintenance concerns to administration. Operate power washers, buffers, vacuums, and carpet shampoo machines throughout the shift. Perform trash removal and window cleaning both inside and outside the building. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand, climb stairs, and bend for the entire shift. Weekly pay and insurance packages provided.
Required Qualifications
- Background Check
- Drug Testing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds for the entire shift
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Must be capable of bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift
- Must be capable of pushing a manual broom and mop
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation arrangements
- Must be comfortable working in a school setting
- Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups
- Must not sit during the work shift except for the 30-minute lunch break and the 15-minute work break
- Must be able to operate power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo carpet machines and scrubbers
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
- Must be comfortable working in a school environment
- Must be willing to assist others as needed
