Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive cleaning of offices, restrooms, cafeterias, auditoriums, and hallways by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces. Prepare cleaning solutions per manufacturer guidelines and empty trash receptacles throughout the campus. Remove trash and clean windows outside the building, while shampooing and deep cleaning carpets and rugs. Report maintenance concerns to administration and assist with meeting set-ups as needed. Maintain a quality environment by adhering to all safety protocols, wearing required PPE, and operating power washers and carpet shampoo machines. Work full shifts standing, lifting 25 pounds, and climbing stairs in a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Background Check
- Drug Testing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds for the entire shift
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Must be capable of bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift
- Must be capable of pushing a manual broom and mop
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation arrangements
- Must be comfortable working in a school setting
- Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups
- Must not sit during the work shift except for the 30-minute lunch break and the 15-minute work break
- Must be able to operate power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo carpet machines and scrubbers
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
- Must be comfortable working in a school environment
- Must be willing to assist others as needed
