Job Summary
Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, tables, and hallways; empty trash bins; and sanitize restrooms, door handles, and windows. Remove trash and debris outside the building and clean cafeteria tables. Sweep auditoriums and media centers, vacuum carpets, and operate power washers, buffers, shampoo carpet machines, and scrubbers. Clean thresholds and vacuum mats around entrance and exit doors. Assist with meeting set-ups and adhere to all safety protocols while wearing required PPE. Maintain a standing position for the entire shift, lifting up to 40 pounds and climbing stairs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Background Check
- Drug Testing
- Valid driver's license
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 40 pounds for the entire shift
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Capability of bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift
- Capability of pushing a manual broom and mop
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to enter and exit a car with a sitting motion during the entire shift
- Reliable transportation arrangements
- Comfortable working in a school setting
- Ability to assist with meeting set-ups
- Ability to operate power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo carpet machines and scrubbers
- Willingness to wear all required PPE
- Adherence to all safety protocols
- Ability to lift 30 pounds for the entire shift
- Willingness to assist others as needed
