Job Summary
Check employee badges for entry, operate truck gates, and meet and greet visitors while performing hourly security checks and monitoring CCTV. Stop, question, and detain individuals as needed, responding to emergencies with unplanned strenuous physical activity, climbing stairs, and using handcuffs. Work alone in adverse weather and manufacturing environments, adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE. This role requires meeting State of North Carolina requirements for an unarmed private security officer, including passing extensive background checks and drug screening. Weekly pay and insurance packages are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background checks, including criminal history check, employment, and education verification, and meet requirements for access to sensitive information
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Mental alertness and emotional stability
- Acuity of senses; ability of expression to allow rapid, accurate communication by spoken, written, audible, visible, or tactile signals
- Use of corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses shall not interfere with an individual's ability to effectively perform assigned security duties during normal or emergency operations
- No use of medications that while the individual is working, that would incapacitate, alter mental status, judgment or decrease physical or mental response times
- Medical evidence that the condition is controlled with proper medication and/or treatment and/or reasonable accommodations (if applicable)
- Letter of clearance from personal physician attesting that the candidate can perform the essential elements of the job (if applicable)
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must be willing to adhere to all safety protocols
