Job Summary
Operate high-speed sophisticated machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure successful production processes. Calibrate and recalibrate equipment before and after procedures, arrange machines at the start of shifts, and test units to confirm readiness. Insert production materials into designated parts and set operation parameters including speed, size, and shape. Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical faults, and repair breakdowns to keep the department running trouble-free 24 hours per day. Maintain good housekeeping, clean machine parts after every procedure, and strictly adhere to client specifications and safety protocols. Work 12-hour shifts standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds while wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Must be able to stand and work for 12 hours
- Must be able to bend, walk, push, pull squat and lift up to 50 pounds for the entire shift
- Must be able follow instructions
- Must have a willingness to work when needed
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
