01 Patient Care Technician

Contribute to patient database by collecting and documenting patient information, including height, weight, allergies, vital signs, and intake/output measurements. Prepare patient rooms for admissions, transfers, or discharges, and assist in accompanying patients during these procedures. Provide general patient care such as morning and evening routines, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens while ensuring privacy. Collect and transport specimens, report changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to call lights. Perform delegated tasks including IV discontinuation, phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and ostomy appliance changes. Maintain patient safety through preventative measures and education.
