Job Summary
Create and maintain enterprise-wide data pipeline architecture, designing complex data sets that meet business requirements. Build infrastructure and workflows for ETL of data from sources like SAP and Salesforce. Lead customer conversations to present project architecture and support operations. Establish logical and physical database models within Azure ADF and SSISIR, ensuring compliance with corporate metadata standards. Develop pilot solutions and proofs-of-concept with minimal direction. Requires 10+ years of experience in data architecture and analytics. This temporary role offers 6 months minimum, with a potential 1-year customer proposal, located in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years in industry
- Data Architect / Analytics / Integration
- Create and maintain data pipeline architecture for enterprise-wide data
- Design and assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements
- Build infrastructure and workflows required for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from different data sources (namely SAP, Salesforce etc.)
- Lead customer conversations, creating and presenting project architecture, and support operations
- Be able to build pilot solutions and proofs-of-concept with minimal direction
- Thorough understanding of Data Flows within Azure ADF
- Setup SSISIR to publish SSIS packages to Azure
- Create, document and maintain logical and physical database models in compliance with enterprise standards
- Maintain corporate metadata definitions for enterprise datastores within a metadata repository
- Some travel from NY area

- Experience in implementing a data & analytics green field data lake leveraging Microsofts tools
