Job Summary
Plan standards-based instruction aligned with District outcomes and state achievement standards, adapting content and strategies to meet individual learner needs. Supervise assigned students, maintain positive learning environments, and foster strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community. Participate in cluster group meetings to discuss student growth goals and contribute to school-wide professional development by modeling best practices and supporting peer lesson planning. Teach the approved Eagle County School curriculum while promoting behavior expectations that maximize learning time. Maintain an ongoing program of professional growth to meet District requirements and personal goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CTE certification or willingness to gain CTE certification
- Active teacher authorization or license issued by the State of Colorado
- Highly Qualified status according to the Colorado's definition of a Highly Qualified teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act
- Colorado Department of Education Teaching License
- Able to move to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado
